Would giving a dog worms help with mast cell tumors?

Since mast cells are for destroying and attacking invasive parasites, would intentionally giving a dog worms have any beneficial effect in the case of mast cell tumors, where the mast cells have essentially become unstable? Would the introduction of an enemy for them to fight help to stabilize them and focus thier spread?
Does anyone actually know if the effects of giving a dog parasites with mast cell tumors has been studied or observed?

  No. The the only way to remove them is surgically. Then if your vet wants, follow up with Chemo.

  no it will not do anything except for make your dog sicker than it already is if it is a mastisized tumor it will spread through the lyphnoids and that doesnt really have much to do with the intestinal track or heart which is the only kind of worms you could give a dog so i dont know where u came up with that but they need to get there facts straight

  No, it would not.

  Mastocytoma's do not destroy and attack parasites… it attacks the ability for tissue to repair ("fix") itself. The cancer ends up spreading from the tissue to the lymph nodes, liver, spleen, and eventually the bone marrow. It has nothing to do with parasites.

  Even if mast cell tumors are removed via surgery the chances of getting all the cancer out is not very good, unfortunately. It is recommended to follow-up with radiation therapy and possibly chemotherapy depending on location.

  this is something you need to ask your vet. i really don't see how it would help. if it was something good it would already be done.

  No, the mast cell tumors are already areas out of control, they would not disappear. All you'd be doing would be to stress the dog by putting it's body through nutritional decrease (worms eat what the dog eats, before the dog's body can use it). Don't do it.

  Most mast cell tumors are benign, and cosmetically removed. What you CAN do is discuss with your vet about nutritional supplements the dog may need.
