I live out in the country. My dog kept finding and bringing human bones home. We called the police eventually, but then she found bones of another person. After we moved, she still kept brining home human bones, is this a serious problem and what should I do.

  well first you have to make sure its human bones and not just like bird bones or deer bones cause my dog did that once and i thought it was a human bone but it just turned out to be an animal bone

  I wouldn’t say it’s a problem for your dog. The police should use your dog to find these missing people. How do you know they were different people? Are you sure they are, in fact, human bones? Is there any flesh still attached? What color are the bones? Does it look like your dog has been digging them up, are her feet dirty? If you dog has been finding human remains, the police should definately be called.

  If you’re serious, it sounds like she would make a good cadaver dog — one that finds human remains in wreckage, like collapsed buildings.

  Sounds kind’a serious to me.lol I would follow the dog,maybe take her for a walk,and let her/him lead you,then eventually your dog will take you right to the place where it is finding the bones.
