You can go to your local vet supply store and buy a worm pill for around $7–that is what it cost where I live–it will kill ALL the kinds of worms. Make sure you ask for a pill that kills all worms, not just one kind of worm or they will give you the pill for the long round worms–not sure what they are called.
If you think your dog just has the long round worms, those pills are like $2 or so.

Vet fees vary…however, for less than $100 you can get a general physical, shots, worming…and for a few bucks more you can get it fixed…I noticed you called the dog an "it"…maybe you should find out how to tell if "it" is a boy or a girl.

You can buy stuff at Wal-mart or the pet store that you feed the dog a couple of times that makes it poop a lot and it gets rid of the worms that way. It is non-prescription stuff and works. I have used it for my dogs in the past. I believe that you can pick the stuff up for less the $10

Go to pet store and buy worm medicine. BUT pin the doggy up and keep the area clean. Put down newspaper. When the worms come out they are alive and GROSS. BE prepared.
Old fashion method…CASTRO OIL and bacon GREASE pour on dog food.. PLEASE make sure your animal is in a designated area ok. I am not joking about the MESS of worms. NEWPAPERS ok.

it depends on the type of worms it has if it is pin worm it is usually inexpensive but heart worms can get costly

It depends on the type of worms. Some are harder to get rid of then others. Wormer is dispensed by the weight of the dog. So you may be looking at $7 up to $30 depending on the weight of the dog and the type of worms you are treating for. Beware of over the counter wormers. They either don’t work or give the dog diarrhea in an attempt to flush the worms out of the intestinal tract, which doesn’t work either.

You should first of all see if this dog has any ID tag and if it does call the owner and say you found the dog. If there is no ID tag, then get some shampoo and wash him, then feed him any soft meat, and I got my Chihuahua dewormed for $10 or $15 dollars but I am a member and my Chihuahua Is registered.

It depends on the size of the dog and how badly infested he/she is. It can be very costly to treat a large dog for worms.

It’s usually about $35.00. If the vet has seen the dog in the past year they will usually just give you the pills to give the dog without charging an office visit. Just give them a call. Even with the office visit it will only be about $75.00

Just get some wormer from the local store. You need one with a product called fenbendazole in it.
