My fiance just put Hartz brand flea and tick prevention on our dog, the package only had warnings of what to do if you get the stuff in your eyes. I have heard conflicting answers varying from 1 hour to 3 days. Does anyone know how long a vet or the companies that make these preventatives reccomend that you wait to start petting your dog again?
