How do I treat my back yard from the worms my dog had?

I was online and they said that some worms that a dog has can live in the dirt outside and reinfect your dog are there any kinds of yard treatments I can use for that? I mean I think it would be useless to treat my dog for his problem being that he is an outside dog and then he gets reinfected and I’ll be left with the same problem as before.

  dogs have worms for life… all you can do is treat them for the round worms and other worms in their digestive track. Heart worms are from mosquitoes. You can set up mosquito traps in an attempt to kill those off. But regular, monthly doses are recommended if your dogs have worms. Dogs get worms from their moms when they are born! Puppies have to start getting wormed at 2 weeks.

  yes its true!!

  Remember, always keep your kennel(s) disinfected and your backyard clean of feces. It is to be noted that roundworms are zoonotic, which means they can infect humans. Hence, maintaining hygiene is one of the important ways to prevent spreading of roundworms. Make sure that you clean fecal matter from the backyard and lawn regularly, so as to protect your pet as well as your family from these nasty roundworms.

  Well yancy I think you should use pestisides in your garden they could kill off certain plants but think about it in the long run if you don’t the worms will keep reproducing and eventually they could enter your naighbours yard which could result in you getting a fine
