I am looking to buy a new small dog. I narrowed it down to two breeds: Tibetan Spaniel and Yorkie. I have never owned either of these breeds so i dont know a lot about them. I was wondering which one you think is a better breed. We have a huge yard and no small kids. Any suggestions?

Personally, i have a Miniature Australian Shepherd. They can be hard headed, but if your persistent with training, they will be the best dog you ever had. Mine needs alot more work, but her full sister i know and work with in Obedience classes is amazing. I like training with the kueler method, i believe that is how you spell it. it has worked for my Australian cattle dog, my lab, and is working for my mini aussie.
