Did my Vet give my dog Advantage in a shot?

He said something about a flea treatment and he didn’t give me anything. My boyfriend thought it was the shot that’s why I ask. She goes back on friday for a fixed-abortion and I don’t want her to still have fleas!
I cant call him it’s sunday I just wanted to know if anybody knows! I’m going to call him no matter what anybody says! Just gotta play the waiting game.
