my dog is slowly being weaned off steroids, prednisone , and it is about that time again where he needs to take his heart worm preventives as well. is it okay for me to give him both heart worm preventives and prednisone?

    Not too sure as I’m not a vet – you should probably call your vet and make sure! I wouldn’t really trust any answers off of here about that kind of stuff as I’m 99.9% sure that no veterinarian’s scour this site for questions to answer.

    You could just shoot a quick call to your E- Vet and get an answer right now!

    The two drugs are unrelated and should not cause any complications but–to be on the safe side–you should ask your vet.
