  I live in great britain, and saw this story, and it brought tears to my eyes, then i thought, will it ever happen, then as i read down, i see it all come true, what a great ending,my husband is in the british army and my heart goes out to you all, and hope all our lads and lasses come home soon for good.

  Lex was presented to the Lee family on Fri., Dec. 21, 2007, in a ceremony in Albany, GA. Then was escorted by police patrol to Dustin’s grave site in Mississippi. Go Lex! What a great Christmas present for the Lee family! Watch it on CBS Early show Mon. Dec. 24th.

  Update. The Marine Corps announced that the Lee Family will be allowed to adopt LEX! I would like to thank everyone who helped express their support! God bless and have a Merry Christmas!

  I worked for a friend who’s brother was a Marine Recon Dog handler. He cut short his leave so he could ship over to Nam. Both of them were killed in combat. My heart goes out to you. All the best and take care!
