    i think all puppy mills shoul be banded!!!!! and i think that the people who are in charge should have a punisment and that should be putting them in cages and they can have bugs in there food along with going to the bathroom on the floor and maybe even they could see but they couldnt even probibly stay alive if they were pregnant and had no doctor to help them…. PUPPY MILLS SHOULD BE BAND!!!!!!!

    Most people cant adopt dogs from shelters cause of all there rules, cant have kids under this age, and whatever else they got and turn alot of people away for silly/stupid to good reasons depending on person. Thats why people shell out more money for a pet store puppy, because all they have to do is heres the money now give me my puppy, plus they can do instalment plans by 50 bucks a month as an example! Or they go other abouts getting a dog outside shelter setting. Which is more of the problem!

    Basically if you adopt a dog at a shelter you’re probably just getting an already purchased puppy mill dog. Adopting doesn’t do any better than buying a puppy at a pet store.

    @estring628 Call by law to pick them up, or call places like spca and things like that and talk to them about it, and see what your options are really to help them, you can buy dog food and feed them and fresh water out for them, and can try brushing there coat or bathing them if you wanted too, or they need to be taken away where they will have a chance but there is a chance they might be put down, can always try talking to the owners or something, theres alot you can do, need to see whats best

    this is horrbile! but i have a question:
    i have a person who lives on my street, she/he has 2 dogs. they both have no collars, and are always left outside when the owners are away. The one dog looks like his coat is all ratty, the dog is also very very skittish. the other dog just seems to want to get out! they both look soooooo unhappy!

    It is sickeneing that these animals are just used to make money and thats it.They are treated terribly!!and when they can no longer have babies they are killed!!

    BUY FROM BREEDERS :D i hate puppy mills i rescued my dog hes perfect though I HATED HIIM AT FIRST drove me mad but hes so loyal and loving and hes all miinie :D luv u tobie

    unfathomable. why are these places ever allowed to exist? like the government doesnt know about what goes on? its so nice how things like this are overlooked just because they are animals. it makes me sick. i would never buy a puppy from a pet store. always from a shelter. all of my dogs either came from an abused home or a shelter, or someone who needed to find them a home. there are no reasons for puppymills to even exist.

    Our dogs were from some breeders at a house, their was a large yard, and they wern’t abused, our earlier cats were about to get put to sleep, but they then went into our house, and one of them lived for fifteen years, the other two for about ten.
